Welcome to one of the most exciting events of the year! A unique exhibition has opened at Książ Castle, the pearl of Lower Silesia, on the aristocratic third floor. Visitors coming to the castle will be able to view costumes from the great Hollywood productions of recent years. For the first time in Europe, the outfits designed for Hollywood’s stars are on display! Come with us on a magical trip to the world of cinema, and enjoy the “Movie Heroes” exhibition of film costumes.

A supplementary ticket is needed for this exhibition (it is necessary to have, as well, a ticket to visit the Castle; prices are listed [here]). The exhibition is open ONLY on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Today we are fascinated by film fiction, and are eager to know more about the most talked-about movies. Not surprisingly, these productions inspire a range of unusual and controversial feelings in us, from shock to delight. No one can be indifferent to Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds”. We are charmed by the cast of Wes Anderson’s “Grand Budapest Hotel”. Robert Stromberg’s “Maleficent”, a beautiful and visually exquisite story, touches our hearts. These productions may be viewed and discovered again and again. At the “Movie Heroes” exhibition, you can take a new look at these well-known cinematic creations by admiring the costumes and props that were used in them.
If you don’t know these films, you may wish to see parts of them after taking in the exhibition. Of course, it includes no lack of costumes from the films of our own, developing Polish cinema.
“Movie Heroes” is well worth a visit: not only for the costumes and props, but also its unique cinema interiors, laid out with a contemporary touch.
